Math Olympiad competitions are amazing platforms to showcase mathematical talents and bump up your child’s academic achievements. However, it often takes special training to get students used to the requirements, type of questions and solutions, format, and techniques of thinking, before one can truly excel and achieve spectacular results.
For Primary 6 students, your child’s exceptional math skills can give them a direct route to esteemed secondary schools in Singapore through the direct schools admissions (DSA-Sec) pathway. Places are highly limited, but our training can better prepare your child so they know what to expect and perform brilliantly amidst the tough competition.
Unlike the average math tuition elsewhere, our Primary School Math Talent Programme is taught by highly competent Math tutors, including past Math Olympiad winners and coaches. So, let your child’s math talent shine with expert mentoring and training, available onsite and online.
About the class
Students will be exposed to Math Olympiad-type questions and taught to use various mathematical reasoning techniques to solve unique and novel math challenges they will encounter in such competitions.
Besides preparing your child with the skills, we also help students enrol for various junior Math Olympiad competitions all year round. Some notable local, regional and international competitions our students regularly compete in are:

- Singapore Math Kangaroo Competition (SMKC)
- Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO)
- International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)

- International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS)
The DSA Preparatory Course by Future Academy trains students to answer the types of math questions commonly posed at DSA Math entrance exams. These are typically more challenging, higher-order thinking problems.
Some of the top secondary schools our students apply to for DSA include Hwa Chong Institution (HCI), Raffles Institution (RI), NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, Nanyang Girls High School (NYGH), and Raffles Girls School (RGS).
The Math Olympiad training classes are open to all primary school levels (Primary 1-6).
Our DSA Preparatory classes are reserved for Primary 5 to 6 students.
Existing interest and strong abilities in maths is a requirement, as this course is focused less on basic concepts, and more on solving highly challenging math problems.
