For the longest time, being a student in Singapore meant rushing to tuition classes after school. We understand that students nowadays have their timetables filled with commitments after commitments. If our flexible arrangements can help them alleviate that just a little bit, then it is worth it. The result is that tutors can also accommodate more students at one time slot, rather than being rigid about having dedicated times for online students and onsite students.
Increases engagement levels
Some of our tutors noticed a ‘weird’ trend: the same students who were reluctant to speak up in the classroom, became more proactive in answering and asking questions when they attended online tuition!
Of course, this is not the same for all students, but it’s a possibility that some students are simply more comfortable interacting online. Similarly, other students are more comfortable interacting in-person. With the hybrid format, students can choose the platform and environment they feel the most safe and effective for their own learning.
